This module explains the basics of copyright and plagiarism and its relevance to students. The module is intended as a guide to what is permissible under the Copyright Act 1968 and the Copyright Amendment (Digital Agenda) Act 2000.

In addition, the module provides information on the alternative application of copyright through the Creative Commons project, as well as advice on avoiding Plagiarism.
